Here's the gap
With the first three men out of transition and on the run the splits were Ronnie Schildknecht at 5:22:05 then Stefan Riesen almost exactly 17 minutes back at 5:39:09 with Daniel Müller 22 seconds behind him at 5:39:31.

Race leader Sibylle Matter went through the 10k with a 7:22 lead over Caroline Steffen (47:00) who was just 23 seconds ahead of Michaela Giger (45:15) - looks like there will be a change in second place soon then! Giger was 1:43 ahead of Kathrin Pätzold (43:51) and she was 1:23 ahead of Tara Norton (47:32) so there's a lot of potential for change left in the top five women
