IM Community Foundation Entry ? Comment ça marche ?
Quelqu'un s'est il déjà inscrit sur un IM via cete fondation ?
Quel en est le principe, comment ça marche, est-ce que c'est une loterie ?

C'est pas une loterie. Quand les inscriptions sont closes, l'organisation sort de sa manche comme par magie des places libres qu'elle met en vente au triple du prix. Une partie de la sommme va a des organisations locales qui aident a l'organisation de la course.
Par example pour l'IM Arizona:
A Community Foundation entry is $1,300.00 USD. $525.00 is for the race entry fee and $775.00 is for the charitable donation and is tax deductible.
Attention quand meme:
"To enter an event via the Community Foundation, click on the links to the event of your choice and sign up via Active.com. After the spots are sold out, Ironman will send the donation portion to NASCF to distribute to our Ironman communities to help provide more recreational and sports opportunities."
Si je comprends bien, en s'inscrivant, tu t'engages a payer au moins les 775$ qui seront versés aux 'Local communities' et la place n'est pas garantie
